Revelations on IKEA Founder's Nazi Past

In some European countries you never know who was a Nazi sympathizer In the U.S., the worst that can happen to a successful person who is seriously resolved to living their life on the straight and narrow, is that maybe something not very nice from their past will surface in the mass media. Usually, it's some sort of crime, theft, perhaps, or a divorce or stint in rehab. But as long as it isn't something like pedophilia or murder, Americans can be very forgiving when skeletons occasionally pop out of the closet. Not so in Europe, where some skeletons that pop out of the closet were also worn on the uniforms of a dead regime to which, God help these older Europeans if they once belonged.

Who is Jose Baez?

Jose Baes and his most famous client so far. He is the lead attorney in the murder trial of the decade; he pushes the envelope and seems to be the “bad boy” of the courtroom, writes The Imperfect Parent . So just who is Jose Baez? His website reads like a modern day Clarence Darrow, “Aggressive, experienced, trusted criminal defense.” His introduction on the website says, “The Florida criminal defense attorneys at Baez Law Firm, with offices in Kissimmee, are committed to defending the rights of people accused of felonies and misdemeanors across Florida. Our attorneys are confident and dedicated trial lawyers who will work to protect your rights with aggressive defense.” Yet the link that touts the attorney profiles that work for the Baez Law Firm goes nowhere. Disney's First Water Park: Closed, Spooky, Abandoned...

Walt Disney World’s first water park, River County, closed in 2001 and the place has been untouched ever since. From MotherTrip.com : For some reason these pictures make you wonder how it would be with children running around and screaming. From the place where the lifeguard used to sit to the boom swing, everything can still be seen although a lot of the wood is rotting away. You will also see what used to be the white water rapids ride. River County used to be popular in its time but is now long forgotten. Those who have been here will definitely remember the times. VH1 has picked up "Mob Wives," a new reality series created by Jennifer Graziano, a daughter of Bonanno capo Anthony (T.G.) Graziano (according to Reality Wives ). This is Ms. Graziano's first producer/writer credit, according to IMDB.com . The cast list, as indicated on Bourgy (a website that follows reality shows), is Renee Graziano (another daughter of Anthony Graziano?), Drita D’Avanzo (wife of Lee D’Avanzo), Carla Facciolo (wife of Joey Ferragamo) and Karen Gravano (daughter of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano). So "Mob Wives & Daughters" would be a better title, no? (A little nugget we dug up about one of the "mobsters," which, if true, should make for a bit more interesting show: The New York Daily News reported that Lee D’Avanzo was romantically linked...
